Terms of Use

Last Updated: June 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.firesystemsinc.net (the “Website”), operated by Fire Systems, Inc. (“Fire Systems,” “FSI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), an Altus Fire & Life Safety company. By accessing or using the Website, or submitting information through it, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Website.

2. Website Purpose and Scope

The Website is provided for informational and business-communication purposes related to fire alarm systems, fire protection, life safety services, inspections, testing, and related professional services. Content is for general informational use only and does not replace professional consultation, system design, engineering review, or code interpretation. Use of the Website does not create a client, contractual, inspection, monitoring, or service relationship unless expressly agreed to in writing.

3. Permitted Use

You may use the Website for lawful purposes, including requesting information or services, submitting inquiries through contact or service-request forms, reviewing service descriptions, and communicating with us about fire and life safety needs. You agree not to:

  • use the Website for unlawful, fraudulent, or misleading purposes;
  • attempt to access restricted systems, data, or networks;
  • interfere with the Website’s functionality or security, or introduce harmful code;
  • use automated means to scrape, harvest, or collect information from the Website; or
  • submit false, incomplete, or misleading information.

4. Forms, Submissions, and Communications

When you submit information through the Website — including contact forms, service requests, or inquiries — you agree that the information is accurate to the best of your knowledge, that we may contact you using the information provided, and that submitted data may be processed through secure third-party platforms such as WPForms and Salesforce. Submitting a form does not guarantee service availability, pricing, scheduling, or acceptance of work, and does not create a contractual obligation.

5. No Professional or Emergency Reliance

Information on the Website is not intended to be relied upon as fire-code interpretation, emergency-response guidance, system design or engineering advice, or compliance certification or approval. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services. Do not rely on Website content, emails, or contact forms for urgent or life-threatening situations.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website — including text, graphics, logos, images, service descriptions, and documentation — is the property of Fire Systems or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. The Fire Systems and Altus Fire & Life Safety names and logos are trademarks of their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or reuse Website content without prior written permission, except for personal or internal business reference.

7. Third-Party Links and Platforms

The Website may include links to third-party websites or platforms for convenience or operational purposes. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party sites, and your use of them is subject to their respective terms.

8. Service Relationships and Contracts

Fire alarm, fire protection, inspection, testing, monitoring, and life safety services are governed by separate written agreements. These Terms do not replace or modify any service contract, inspection agreement, or regulatory obligation. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and an applicable service agreement, the service agreement shall control with respect to those services.

9. Disclaimers

THE WEBSITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE WEBSITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT ITS CONTENT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR CURRENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIRE SYSTEMS AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, OR ANY LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON WEBSITE CONTENT OR FROM WEBSITE DOWNTIME, ERRORS, OR INTERRUPTIONS. USE OF THE WEBSITE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

This limitation applies to your use of the Website only. It does not limit, expand, or otherwise affect the rights, obligations, warranties, or liabilities of any party under a separate written service agreement, which are governed solely by that agreement.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fire Systems, its affiliates, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your misuse of the Website, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of false or misleading information.

12. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to Section 13, you agree that any action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Bristol County, Massachusetts, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

13. Dispute Resolution; Arbitration

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Website that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration administered in Massachusetts under the rules of a recognized arbitration provider, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You and Fire Systems agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class or representative proceeding. If this class-action waiver is found unenforceable, the remainder of this Section will be void but the rest of these Terms will remain in effect.

14. Miscellaneous

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Fire Systems regarding the Website and supersede prior agreements regarding the Website.
